Do I need any art experience?

How long does it take to finish a painting?

Most people finish in 8-15 hours spread over a few sessions. A 24-color kit is the fastest (8-10 hours), a 48-color kit takes longer but captures more detail. There's no deadline. Many customers paint a few sections each evening as a relaxing ritual.

What's the difference between 24, 36, and 48 colors?

More colors = more detail and more lifelike results. 24 colors works great for simple compositions (pets on a solid background, single portraits). 36 is our most popular, balancing detail with a comfortable painting experience. 48 captures the most nuance and is best for landscapes, group photos, or when you want maximum realism.

Should I get the frame or just the canvas?

The frame is a pre-built wooden stretcher frame that the canvas wraps around. It means your painting is ready to hang the moment you finish. Without the frame, you get a flat rolled canvas that you can frame yourself later. If this is a gift or you want it on the wall fast, go framed.

What if I make a mistake while painting?

Acrylic paint dries opaque, which means you can paint right over any mistake. Wait for the section to dry (a few minutes), then paint the correct color on top. Even experienced painters do this. Your kit also comes with enough extra paint to cover touch-ups.
